Hands On SCIENCE

Get Ahead Kids, also known as GAK, is a unique program that offers an assortment of hands-on SCIENCE experiments. The presentations that GAK will introduce are designed to spark interest in SCIENCE. This is achieved through awesome, gooey, slippery, bubbling, bouncing, and even weird experiments. These presentations are guaranteed to bring the WOW factor!
GAK presentations are as entertaining as they are educational. This is accomplished by the teaching technique developed by world renowned SCIENCE children's author and presenter Janice VanCleave. Janice's special name for this incredibly successful method is "Let's Play and Find Out." This playful inquiry approach presents SCIENCE in a way that kids understand. But just as important, it tweaks their curiosity about the scientific method around them.
YES! Our presentations on SCIENCE will encourage more "WHY?" questions. This is the building block of learning. GAK Team leader Kim Bolden aims to spark deeper interest and curiosity in her audience of all ages, boys or girls.
